JOCPCS Dredging on the Front Line

On the afternoon of February 27th, according to the company's environmental protection self-inspection and self-correction requirements, the Safety Director took the lead, collaborated with the Storage and Transportation Department, Technical Center, and Safety and Environmental Protection Department to successfully remove sediment from the rainwater initial monitoring and discharge tank.

This tank collected raw rainwater containing high sand, resulting in a sediment of 60 cm in the tank. In the long run, this situation will affect the rainwater discharge. In this case, the environmental protection team took the initiative to take action. The Storage and Transportation Department overcame the difficulties of low manpower and a large workload. The Technical Center immediately followed the overall deployment and quickly established a 12-person cleaning team.

Gu Yin, Fan Li, Baiwei, Zhang Xingdong, Yang Xinglei, and Mei River all plunged into the knee-deep mud, Zhou Wenjun, Chen Jiashan, Li Lei, Meijiang, Tang Chunlai, and Dai Jingyuan used various methods spades, barrels, gourds and forklifts and other operations to overcome the foul smell of the mud. Everyone's face and clothes were covered with mud, and sweat had already flowed through their cheeks and soaked their clothes. However, everyone focused on the work, not afraid of dirt or fatigue. The entire scene is busy and orderly.

After nearly 4 hours of cleaning, the mud adhering to the pool wall disappeared, and the water became clear. Due to the heavy workload, some of them had their hands scratched and some were covered in mud. However, without a word of complaint, everyone worked together to clean the water tank, fully reflecting the sense of responsibility of JOCPCS employees who are not afraid of difficulties and dare to contribute.
