This volume is the face-to-face forum between the general manager and the newly promoted front-line backbone workers.

Since the theme education was carried out, HQCC has focused on the difficulties and pain points of enterprise reform and development, facilitating smooth communication, conducting an in-depth analysis of root causes, discussing solutions, promoting ideas, measures, and initiatives, and fully mobilizing the enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity of all employees.

Recently, the company organized a face-to-face forum between the general manager and the newly promoted front-line backbone workers with three hours of in-depth communication with the newly promoted schedulers and shift leaders.

At the meeting, they discussed how to fulfill their promises during recruitment in 2023, how to fit in the growing HQCC and fulfill their responsibilities based on the current economic situation and the change of customers, and how to face their imperfect selves. The meeting also covered whether the company could provide other platforms for their development based on their strengths and years of working experience. To ensure the effectiveness of the research, the office made and distributed a research outline before the meeting. During the meeting, each employee spoke freely and put forward many valuable opinions and suggestions.

At the meeting, Sun Chengli shared her work experience.

The first is the law of business and life. The fundamental principles are the same: simplicity, justice, fairness, honesty, humility, hard work, courage, fraternity, etc.

The second is to realize the ideal. Belief is the most powerful. What you desire the most is more likely to be realized.

Third, if you think about every detail, the goal will be achieved. This attitude is needed at work. If you want to make something, you are more likely to succeed if you can simulate the ideal state in your mind. 

Fourth, the mindset determines fate. Everything that happens to you is made by your heart. Thought is the brush, and life is the canvas, which will be different with different brushes.

Fifth, thinking and innovation can make great leaps. No matter what you do, different attitudes will lead to different results. Active innovation will generate completely different results after a long time of accumulation. There is no shortcut in HQCC. Only by insisting on serious, down-to-earth work, adhering to our original intentions, and walking the talk can we realize our dreams and grow with the company.

Sixth, listen to the “holly voice” at the work site. In the workplace, we should gaze with our eyes, listen with our ears, get close with our bodies, feel with our hearts, and carefully observe tanks, pipes, and valves, making the lifeless work site come alive with persistent faith and keen observation to give us silent inspiration and hints.

Sun Chengli concluded, “All of you here are the most important employees of the company, who will participate in the company’s management. Therefore, you must meet the various challenges of safety production with more enthusiasm. I hope you can contribute more of your ideas to solving the bottlenecks in safety and environmental protection, and the company will reward you. We will work together to supervise each other and reach the annual operation goal.”

The forum further enhanced the company’s attention to and cares about talents, showed its determination to cultivate a high-level team and enhanced the staff’s sense of identity and belonging. In response to the opinions and suggestions put forward by the front-line backbones at the meeting, the leadership team will attach great importance and carefully sort them out to improve the corresponding working mechanism.
