To deeply understand and promote the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, publicize model workers, vigorously carry forward the spirit of model workers, educate young pioneers to listen to the Party, feel the Party’s grace and follow the Party, and guide them to bear “labor is the most glorious, noble, greatest, and beautiful” in mind, our company carried out the party building activity of “learning the story of model workers and understand their spirit in detail” with Taihu Road Primary School of Taizhou City on March 7.
Introduction of Taihu Road Primary School of Taizhou City
Taihu Road Primary School of Taizhou City was founded in 2013, with 29 classes, 1433 students, and 75 teachers. The school insists on the philosophy of a “colorful childhood” with the goal of “inheriting and carrying forward the excellent Chinese traditional culture”, working to provide a good education for the people and serving the new center of Taizhou”. Teachers focus on moral education and actively join forces in building a “high-quality high-tech school with a good reputation amid the new business situation. In the past 9 years, the school has been rated as excellent for 6 consecutive years in the comprehensive assessment of primary and secondary schools by the District Education Bureau. Teachers of the school all have a bachelor’s degree, and 7 teachers have a master’s degree. There is 1 special teacher in Jiangsu Province, 1 trained talent in the “333” Project in Jiangsu Province, 1 trained talent in the Excellence Project in Jiangsu Province, 2 trained talents in the “311” Project in Taizhou City, and 20 subject-leading teachers and backbone teachers in the city.
I. Learn the story of model workers and feel their spirit
Sun Chengli, secretary of the Party Committee of our company, gave a vivid and lively lecture with a distinctive theme and rich content titled “Never Forget the Beginning While Moving Forward” based on her growth, working, and learning experience and elaborated her understanding of the “Model Worker Spirit” with simple words and wonderful examples for the teachers and students of Taihu Road Primary School.
She said, “The prosperity of the country and the outstanding young generation is closely related to the rise and fall of the country. If the young generation has ideals, skills, and responsibilities, the country will have a promising future, and the nation is destined to prosper. I hope you will never forget your original intention, challenge yourselves, and strive for a better future. Technology comes from innovative ideas, and innovation is the way to realize these ideas. Science and innovation have no end. Although the lecture comes to an end, I hope that the seeds of innovation can be sown in your hearts today and bloom in the years to come!”
II. Interaction with Students
“Ms. Sun, have you ever encountered any particular difficulty? How did you deal with it?” “Ms. Sun, I am interested in science and technology. Can you tell us in detail what requirements it has in the storage of liquid chemical products from technology to clothing?” Students asked questions enthusiastically. Sun Chengli answered one by one and encouraged them to study hard, master the knowledge and skills to repay the society, and become useful in the future. The students were encouraged by the simple and vivid answers. They expressed that they would learn and inherit the spirit of model workers and strive to be excellent in the new era.
III. Exchanges
After the lecture, teachers and students said that Ms. Sun was a role model on their way growing up, and her hard work and dedication encouraged them greatly and pump impetus into their future studies.
